After a long week of rain – Matt and Karina had a perfect day for a wedding in the woods at Whispering Pines, in West Greenwich, Rhode Island.  The day started early for Karina, and her bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done at a nearby salon.  Matt and his groomsmen kicked off the day playing a round of golf before the wedding. After all the preparations, Matt watched Karina walk down the wedding aisle at the Whispering Pines a little after 5:30.  The couple tied the knot with a small ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family.

After the wedding Matt, Karina, and I walked Whispering Pines for some relaxed natural portraits.  There was no shortage for location there for photos.  We were able to get some nice lighting for their wedding portraits. Matt and Karina are spending their first week as a married couple relaxing in Mexico.  Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day.

While I was photographing the girls getting ready Rich Pizzuti grabbed this image of Matt tying his bow tie.

Karina paid attention to the littlest details.  She even took the time to create several wedding signs for the grounds at Whispering Pines.

Matt was all smiles as Karina walked down the aisle.

Rich found this great angle during the exchanging of the rings.

The next couple images are my favorite location portraits.  As you drive into the Whispering Pines, the road is lined with these amazing trees.

I’ve been working with Erin from Wild Orchid Flower Bakery a lot lately. She is an amazing pastry chef based out of North Hampton NH. Below is a tutorial she put together for “The Wedding Chicks”. Erin created flowers out of fruit rollups. I’m new to Pinterest, however this article has been pinned around 14 thousand times.

The screen shot below is a cake blog called “Half Baked – The Cake Blog”. The site featured my images of Erin’s Honeycomb & Bee cake. In this post Erin talks about her thought process while creating this cake.

This wedding was one that I had been looking forward to all year! I met up with Jessica and Mike last winter for drinks, and we talked about what they envisioned their wedding to be like. I knew right away this was one was going to be filled with love, laughter, and a dance floor with a lot of energy. The couple tied the knot in the heart of Boston at the Four Seasons. It was a privilege to witness and document this wedding. Thank you Jessica and Mike for putting your trust in me!

The day started off with a small Ketubah ceremony with close friends, and family.

This is one of my favorite images from the day.

Rich Pizzuti accompanied me for the day and pulled this great image during the ceremony.

It was great to see Jessica and Mike’s parents standing next to them during the ceremony. It made for a great first kiss image.

It’s no surprise that Kate Parker Designs did a great job with the floral, and design of the room.

Mike’s best man had the guest laughing through out his toast!

Jessica and Mike had Beantown Band, and they kept the dance floor crowed all night.

Erin from Wild Orchid Baking Company is like a mad scientist when it comes to baked goods. She always brings something to the table that is innovative, amazing to look at, and taste even better.  Kate wanted to have ginger bread house on the table. Erin had an idea to create a row of houses built around flower vases. Kate finished this idea off with white carnations as snow covered roof. Pretty awesome right?

Kate picked up these items to make this the place setting at Crate & Barrel. Our friends from Be Our Guest had the prefect flatware for our project.

To build off the ginger bread theme the lady’s at Gus and Ruby Letterpress suggested gingerbread men garland on the fireplace.

I recently was asked by Liz Lapan from Paper Posy Designs to photograph a Thanksgiving inspired table at Mac’s Apple Orchards in Londonderry NH, which ended up on The Sweetest Occasion blog. Liz teamed up with letter press genius Whitney Swaffield from Gus and Ruby to create some of the most unique invitations, and menus I’ve seen all year. The floral designed was done by the talented Besty Scott of The Flower Kiosk. Liz did a great job selecting all the dishes and glassware from Nahoctta.
